We’re looking for Background Actors

Two roles available – please select the one that fits you.

We welcome actors of all ethnicities, genders, and identities. First time actors welcome.

ROLE 1

Student

Portray a student attending a book talk given by a prominent touring author on a college campus.

  • Ages:  18 – 39

  • Filming Date:  Sunday, June 7

  • Location: Midtown, NYC

  • Requirements: NYC local / Comfortable sitting for long periods

  • We will cast three non-professional actors for featured roles from applicants.

Faculty Member

Portray a college faculty member at a post-event reception.

  • Ages:  40 – 65

  • Filming Date:  Monday, June 8

  • Location: Midtown, NYC

  • Requirements: NYC local / Comfortable standing for long periods
